Every Thursday morning from 10-11.30am during terms.
Families with pre-school age children. The program is targeted at children from 1 to 4 years of age but carers with babies are also very welcome. We have mums, dads, grandmas, grandpas and nannies coming along each week.
Kath Arkapaw
Kath is primary-school trained, and has served in children’s ministries including kids clubs, playgroups and youth groups for over 20 years. She has two teenage daughters and was hugely impacted by Playgroup when her girls were young, valuing the time each week where she could connect with others going through the same special stage of life. She is passionate about providing a similar welcoming space for young families in the Balmain area.

The morning starts with some free play including a craft, puzzles and other quiet activities. This is followed by a short mat-time including music, singing, games and stories. We then have morning tea together, and finish with some more free-play.

Just bring some morning tea for your child.

You are very welcome to come along with a baby, however you will find the activities are more suited to toddlers and pre-schoolers. You might enjoy the connection with other parents/grandparents/carers even if your baby isn’t ready for that yet
